150 new jobs announced for Cork hedge fund company

150 jobs have been announced at a hedge fund administration company in Co Cork.

HedgeServ, who have been based in Dublin since 2008 with 380 employees, have opened a second base in Mahon.

The company has recently recruited over 50 positions in City Gate and intends to employ another 150 people over the coming years at their state of the art facility in Mahon.

The initiative is supported by the Department of Jobs through IDA Ireland.

Making the announcement today the Taoiseach Enda Kenny said the jobs are a great boost for the local economy, and the talent pool in Cork is suitable for the company's needs.
