400 jobs at aero firm to be decided on later today
400 workers at Lufthansa Technik in West Dublin say they will find out today whether or not any of their jobs will be saved.
The company, which overhauls jet engines, last month said it is "likely" to close its Rathcoole plant in the New Year.
It is understood the final decision on the plant's future will be announced after a board meeting later today.
It comes as union leaders go to the Labour Court today over redundancy packages for the workers.
They're seeking six weeks pay for every year of service on top of statutory entitlements; while Lufthansa Technik is offering four.
