Danske Bank workers accept redundancy terms

Workers at Danske Bank have voted to accept the terms of redundancy recommended by an independent mediator.

Up to 300 permanent staff and contract workers will lose their jobs in the new year, when the bank closes its personal and business banking operations.

The IBOA union said that it is satisfied the severance terms are the best they could get in the current circumstances.
