Candidates being 'Googled' out of jobs

A social media expert is warning that candidates are being 'Googled' out of jobs.

The Dublin lecturer based at Kings College London also warned that employers are increasingly asking candidates in interviews to open their Facebook profiles.

Bernadette John says that even though bosses cannot ask you to open your Facebook in an interview, many jobseekers do not know how to handle the request.
