Almost 3,500 work days lost to industrial action in Q2
Almost 3,500 work days were lost due to industrial action in the second quarter of 2013.
New figures from the CSO show 3,417 work days were lost - a large decrease on last year's figures of 7,754 for the same period.
This spring and early summer there were three disputes involving 2,408 workers and three firms.
The CSO said two days of strike action at Bus Éireann in May accounted for 99% of all the days lost.
