Xtra-vision has been saved from closure.
The DVD rental and games retailer, which was in receivership, has been sold for an undisclosed sum.
It has been bought by a group of companies backed by Hilco Capital Ireland Ltd.
Xtra-vision operates 130 stories on the island of Ireland, employing over 800 people.
