Seventy nine jobs are to be lost with the closure of Diamond Innovations in Dublin.

Management told staff at a meeting today that it is moving its Dublin based production to its headquarters in Ohio.

Workers were told the plant will cease production at the end of September.

Diamond innovations - which makes drilling products - has been based at the Clonshaugh Business Park in North Dublin since 1981.
