US banking giant announces 19,000 job cuts

US banking giant JP Morgan Chase is planning to axe up to 19,000 jobs by the end of 2014.

It is part of a cost-cutting plan that will see its mortgage banking division hit the hardest with a loss of up to 15,000 employees.
