Credit review office overturns 55% of loan appeals

The head of the credit review office will today update the Oireachtas Finance Committee on the flow of credit to businesses by the banks.

John Trethowen said banks were still refusing to take risks when it came to lending to new and challenging businesses, but were more generous when it came to low and medium risk SMEs.
