HMV UK to accept gift vouchers

In Britain, HMV will start accepting gift cards and vouchers again from tomorrow.

It is not yet clear if a decision will be taken to accept gift vouchers here.

UK administrators Deloitte initially said they would not honour them.

It has also been confirmed that proceeds raised by HMV through the sale of charity releases will be paid in full as soon as possible in Britain.

This decision does not affect the Irish arm of the business, which is in receivership.
