Restaurants Association highlights shortage of chefs

The shortage of chefs in Ireland has reached crisis levels and is having an impact on the tourism industry, according to the Restaurants Association.

In its pre-budget submission, the group has urged the Government to create an apprenticeship scheme to train more workers in the sector.
