More than 100 new companies began trading each day last month, according to new figures from Vision-net, a business and credit risk analyst company.

More than 100 new companies began trading each day last month, according to new figures from Vision-net, a business and credit risk analyst company.

The survey, which covered the period between September 1 and 26, recorded 2,745 company and business start-ups which amounted to 105 each day.

The survey also found that 60% of directors of new companies were all men and of an average age of 40.
