British Prime Minister David Cameron has spoken to his counterparts in France and Germany about the proposed £28bn (€35bn) of BAE Systems with European aerospace giant EADS.

Cameron spoke to President Francois Hollande by phone this morning, having discussed the merger with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday evening, said Downing Street.
