Cork GE healthcare facility wins €10m investment

€10m is to be invested in the GE healthcare facility in Co Cork.

It is expected the investment will see the creation of around 50 new jobs at the plant in Carrigtwohill.

The Cork plant won out ahead of GE Healthcare operations in Oslo and Shanghai for the investment.

The new production suite is expected to see the current workforce of 450 expand to 500.
