Glencore shares down almost 4%

Shares in commodities giant Glencore fell nearly 4% today amid fears a mega-merger with Xstrata will collapse.

The $65bn tie-up looks to be in danger after the sovereign wealth fund of Qatar, the second largest shareholder in Xstrata, said it opposed the deal on valuation grounds.
