High Court expected to appoint examiner to Atlantic Homecare

An examiner is expected to be appointed to the DIY chain Atlantic Homecare in the High Court this morning.

Up to 114 jobs could be lost and five of the 13 stores closed as part of a plan to save the business.

The company, which had losses of €11.2m last year, was granted temporary court protection earlier this month.
