Liquidator appointed to Bloxham Stockbrokers

A liquidator has today been appointed to undertake an orderly wind-down of Bloxham Stockbrokers.

On Monday, the Central Bank ordered the company to cease all regulated activities immediately.

It came after an internal investigation revealed issues in the internal finances and reporting of the firm, which are now the subject of a Central Bank investigation.

Kieran Wallace of KPMG was appointed liquidator of Bloxham by the High Court at a hearing today.

Tthe Central Bank were advised that the appointment will not affect the transfer of client assets as announced on Monday.
