O'Brien increases INM share to 27% - report

Denis O'Brien has further increased his stake in Independent News and Media.

Reuters newsagency is reporting that the businessman has bought another 5% worth of shares, taking his total stakehold in the company to 27%.

A spokesman for Mr O'Brien declined to comment.

The move comes just over a week after former CEO Gavin O'Reilly stepped down.
