Etihad Airways has confirmed that it has acquired a 2.9% stake in Aer Lingus.

Etihad Airways has confirmed that it has acquired a 2.9% stake in Aer Lingus.

The airline said the purchase reflected its desire to forge a commercial partnership with the Irish airline.
