Professionalism, talent of workforce 'made it easy' for Amgen to expand

Amgen is to recruit 100 new people for jobs at its facility in Dun Laoghaire in a €150m investment to make the plant a manufacturing hub.

Some 280 people are already employed at the former Pfizer operation.

Amgen vice president of quality control Martin VanTrieste said that coupled with the right equipment and facilities at the facilty, "The professionalism and talent level of the employees here at the site made it a very easy decision for us to come."
