Mothercare to close 111 UK stores

Struggling retailer Mothercare today said it will close another 111 UK stores over the next three years in a move impacting 730 jobs.

A representative from the company could not rule out closures of the company's Irish branches, stating that branches "will close progressively over three years depending on leases and other factors. We have no more information to give at this time".
