Asian stock markets declined after US hiring slowed in March, raising doubts about the durability of the recovery in the world’s No. 1 economy.
Tokyo’s Nikkei 225 index lost 1.1% at 9,585.91 and China’s benchmark Shanghai Composite Index declined 0.2% to 2,301.72.
