Ulster Bank has announced the appointment of Stephen Bell to the position of Chief Risk Officer.

Ulster Bank has announced the appointment of Stephen Bell to the position of Chief Risk Officer.

Mr Bell, who joins Ulster Bank from Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC), has also been appointed to the board of Ulster Bank Limited and Ulster Bank Ireland Limited. He will also be a member of Risk Board and Group Risk Committee within the banks owner Royal Bank of Scotland.

With over 25 years experience, his previous roles include setting up the corporate restructuring operation for Barclays in Western Europe, running Strategy & Change for R&SA Insurance and the turnaround of Transamerica Commercial Finance across EMEA where he was managing director.

“His extensive experience working in risk related roles is an asset to us as we continue to build a strong risk management culture within our business," said Ulster Bank CEO Jim Brown.
