Technology conference begins in Wexford

Representatives from five of the world's largest companies will be in Wexford today for a technology conference.

Executives from Google, Facebook, IBM and major Irish companies will attend Techovate, which takes place at the Wexford Opera House.

"It’s really for anyone from a coffee shop to a hotel to a manufacturing business, and business that wants to seriously look at social media, online marketing and the new technologies out there that give themselves a competitive edge to drive their business forward," said Innovation Wexford chief executive Brendan Ennis.
