Report: Low-cost US airline considers investing in Aer Lingus
It has been reported today that Aer Lingus has held talks with a low-cost US airline about taking a stake in the former flag carrier.
The government is planning to sell its 25% holding in Aer Lingus, and a decision on the sale would be up to the Coalition.
According to the Irish Times, management at Aer Lingus has discussed the prospect of an investment with New York-based JetBlue Airways.
