NY Stock Exchange to hold 'Ireland Day' next week

This day next week is 'Ireland Day' on the New York Stock Exchange.

It is part of a series of events around St Patrick's Day which its hoped will stimulate US investment in the Irish economy.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny will be the keynote speaker at a conference marking the occasion.

A delegation from the IDA will also be meeting business leaders.

Its Chief Executive Barry O'Leary has said recent investments in Ireland by large international companies have helped improve Ireland's image.
