Central Bank issues warning about US investment firm

The Central Bank has today issued a warning about an investment firm that is operating without authorisation in Ireland.

US firm Elliott Lawrence Consultancy Group is not authorised to offer investment services in the State.

The Central Bank is warning consumers that clients of unauthorised firms are not eligible for compensation under the Investor Compensation Scheme.

It is advising anyone with concerns about whether or not an investment firm is authorised to operate in Ireland to contact its helpline 01-224 4000.
