Irish McDonald's exports rise €40m in three years
McDonald’s Restaurants of Ireland has announced an increase in its exports of Irish produce of €40m.
The value of the company's Irish exports hit the €200m mark last year, up from €160m in 2008.
McDonald's, which employs nearly 4,000 people here, exported €110m worth of beef from Ireland in 2011, up from €80m three years before.
Ireland also supplies dairy produce and eggs to the McDonald's system.
