The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 27 points to 3,266, a rise of 0.8%.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 27 points to 3,266, a rise of 0.8%.

Among the risers, Elan added 3.74% to €9.75; FBD was up 3.49% to €8.90; Kenmare Resources climbed 3.13% to €0.69 and C&C Group was up 1.01% to €3.70.
