Australian airline Qantas is to close some of its international routes and cut jobs after reporting an 83% drop in profits for the second half of 2011.

Australian airline Qantas is to close some of its international routes and cut jobs after reporting an 83% drop in profits for the second half of 2011.

The company made a net profit of AUS$42m (€34.5m) in that period.
