ISEQ marginally down

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed down five points to 3,093, a drop of 0.16%.

Among the fallers, Readymix closed down 8.7% to €0.21; Providence Resources fell 7.08% to €3.15; ICON closed down 6.37% to €14.70; CPL Resources shed 3.45% to €2.80 and Paddy Power ended 2.65% off at €42.25.

On the risers' board, Petroceltic International added 11.11% to €0.10; Glanbia was up 2.93% to €4.92; Merrion Pharmaceuticals added 2.38% to €0.43; C&C Group was up 1.68% to €3.52 and Aer Lingus climbed 1.64% to €0.93.
