Lack of trust helped cause crisis: Kenny
The Taoiseach has said the current Eurozone crisis was caused in part by a lack of trust and wrangling among member states.
Enda Kenny told the World Economic Summit in Davos that there has been a lack of focus and a drift away from the core principals of co-operation and solidarity on which the European Union was founded.
"That lack of trust was evident in the markets having no trust in Europe, but also between the governments themselves," he said.
However Mr Kenny told the audience there were growing signs of renewed confidence among leaders as efforts to address the crisis continue.
