World Bank predicts eurozone contraction in 2012

The World Bank has slashed its growth forecasts by predicting a point 3% contraction for the eurozone this year.

It said slower growth is already evident in global trade, just a few weeks into 2012.

The Bank is warning that the eurozone crisis will continue to impact both rich and poor countries.
