Irish SMEs urged to make 'Hireland' pledge

Businesses in Ireland are being urged to sign up to a new initiative aimed at creating jobs.

'Hireland' asks small and medium sized firms to take on just one more employee.

Once the initial pledge is made, the campaign will follow up to see if the job was offered.

Their target is 5,000 jobs in the first half of this year, and already 200 companies have made the promise.
