Report reveals skills shortage in UK

Fresh evidence of the UK's shortage of skilled workers was revealed today with a new study revealing that firms' expansion plans were being "frustrated" by the problem.

The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) said the lack of skilled staff, coupled with "burdensome" regulations, was holding back the ambition of companies to expand.
