ISEQ marginally up

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 20.34 points to 2,741.29, a gain of 0.75%.

Among the risers, Merrion Pharmaceutical added 6c to €0.22, a rise of 37.5%.

Also in the black were Aryzta, up €1.10 to €35.40, Icon, adding 57c to €12.07; Ryanair, climbing 9c to €3.84, and Kerry Group, up 44c to €28.10.

On the fallers' board, C&C shed 12c to €2.83; Paddy Power closed €1.07 down at €40.60; Aer Lingus slipped 2c to €0.69 and Elan was 17c off at €8.57.
