ISEQ marginally up

The ISEQ index of Irish shares close up 12.21 points to 2,623.72, a gain of 0.47%.

Among the risers, Providence Resources was up 25c to €2.53; Kerry Group added 69c to €26.44; CRH climbed 25c to €13.43; C&C added 5c to €2.90 and Irish Continental was up 19c to €14.27.

On the fallers' board, Icon shed 62c to €12.00; Glanbia was down 15c to €4.35; Aer Lingus slipped 2c to €0.66; Tullow Oil was down 43c to €15.32 and Elan Corp close off 8c at 7.71.
