Govt to implement five steps to support business
Five steps aimed at supporting Irish companies recommended by the Taoiseach's Small Business Advisory Group are to be implemented by the Government.
They include installing container scanners at a number of Irish ports in a bid to intercept illegal tobacco shipments.
Other measures include developing a simple one-page guide encouraging small businesses in crisis to seek help.
Minister for Small Business John Perry said another step will be to review the costs of of regulation and licensing.
