Aviva Insurance has announced a new chief executive officer for its Irish business.

Aviva Insurance has announced a new chief executive officer for its Irish business.

Sean Egan, who previously held a senior executive role in the UK, will take over from Dermot Browne who will leave the group at the end of this year.

Aviva recently announced more than 1,000 job losses from its Irish workforce.
