Winter fair for Dalkey

Dalkey is preparing to become the centre of attention for design and craft in Dublin, as the annual 'Winter Fair' weekend takes over in the village.

Now in its seventh year, the free two-day event attracts nearly 40 designers and craftspeople, drawing in more than 3,000 visitors.

The organisers behind the event say designers from the worlds of fashion, jewellery, photography and many more are participating in the fair.

Visitors will be able to browse and buy work from exhibitors throughout the weekend.
