The world's largest toy company Mattel is reportedly in advanced talks to buy the owners of Bob The Builder and Thomas the Tank Engine.

The world's largest toy company Mattel is reportedly in advanced talks to buy the owners of Bob The Builder and Thomas the Tank Engine.

Hit Entertainment is valued at around €574m.

A deal could be reached this week. Mattel already owns the Barbie brand.
