Liquidators to be appointed to Home Payments

The High Court is being asked today to appoint provisional liquidators to Home Payments, which ceased trading yesterday.

The bill-payment and savings company employed 16 people and had around 2,300 customers.

The court has heard nearly 1,600 of those customers are owed less than €3,000, while 23 customers are owed more than €10,000.
