Motorola Mobility Holdings, the maker of mobile phones and cable set-top boxes that split off from the rest of Motorola in January, is struggling to continue its turnaround and find a stable foothold in the world of smartphones and tablets.

Yesterday, it posted a loss for the latest quarter and forecast earnings for the current quarter well below analyst expectations, sending its shares down.
