BlackBerry maker to cut 2,000 jobs
BlackBerry maker Research In Motion is to cut 2,000 jobs as part of a cost saving plan amounting to about 10% of the company’s workforce.
The move by Ontario-based RIM comes after product delays and competition from Apple’s iPhone and smartphones based on Google’s Android operating system.
