Employers' group IBEC has today welcomed the launch of a €7bn R&D funding package by the European Commission.

Employers' group IBEC has today welcomed the launch of a €7bn R&D funding package by the European Commission.

The funding will be available to kick-start innovation through research under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme for Research (FP7) in 2012. A further €11bn will be available for 2013.
