Virgin Atlantic crews threaten strike
Leaders of Virgin Atlantic pilots will meet today to decide their next move following a massive 97% vote in favour of a strike in a row over pay, which has raised the threat of summer walkouts.
The British Airline Pilots Association (Balpa) said the vote, and a turnout of 94%, showed the anger of pilots, who had been expecting a bigger offer than 4% this year after agreeing to forego a rise in recent years.
