Sony confirms €2.2bn loss

Japanese electronics and entertainment giant Sony has confirmed an annual loss of £1.96bn (€2.2bn).

The company was hit by a huge hacking attack in April.

Director of Mizuho International Dr Seijiro Takeshita admited the company has had a terrible start to 2011.
