Mobile user gets roaming charges refunded

A mobile phone user in the UK who amassed hundreds of pounds of data roaming charges has won a battle to get his money back.

Vodafone billed Neil Winton nearly £800 in two months following his trip to the US.

After threatening to take the matter to the Small Claims Court, the 66-year-old got a refund.

Mr Winton says he did not realise he was incurring any charges.
