Irish boards have appropriate skills mix despite gender imbalance, say directors
Eight out of 10 company directors in Ireland believe their board has an appropriate mix of skills.
New research on gender by the Institute of Directors also found that company directors in Ireland are not motivated to correct gender imbalances on their boards.
The results come in spite of the fact that the majority of directors surveyed, who worked for multinationals and Plcs, do not consider their boards to be gender diverse.
