Poll: Less than 1% of Europeans to holiday in Ireland

A new EU Poll shows that just 0.6% of Europeans plan to visit Ireland this year.

The figure is similar to the amount of EU citizens who will visit Bulgaria and Australia.

The poll shows that the Irish people are the third most likely to holiday abroad.

Ruth Deasy of the EU office in Dublin said the poll findings provide "food for thought" to those working in the travel sector.
